A research award needs partners who can carry a defined piece of the work: site readiness, instrumentation, field deployment, monitoring, analysis and reporting through the sponsor's approved channels. Green Summit supports federally funded and other contracted research workstreams with engineering, field deployment and measurable deliverables, the same kind of work we are doing today as technical subcontractor to the University of Central Florida on the U.S. Department of Energy–funded PV-GEMS project. Our Cherokee-TERO certification is relevant where recognized by the procurement; it does not replace solicitation requirements or establish a federal set-aside status.

We team with institutions, Tribal organizations and qualified prime contractors, combining the business relationship with defined engineering, building-performance, verification, research or workforce responsibilities; the specific opportunity controls what the certification establishes.

  • Distributed Energy Consulting

    Make the energy investment decision before choosing the equipment. For campus and institutional facilities, we connect load and operating needs with costs, tariffs, incentives and a plan for performance verification across solar, storage, microgrids and EV charging.

  • Federally Funded Project Partnerships

    Partner with a technical team that can carry a defined work package. We connect engineering, field deployment, monitoring, verification and technical reporting with the responsibilities of the particular award or contract; a teaming commitment, a submitted proposal, a subcontract and a prime award are distinct arrangements, and we describe them that way.

  • Microgrid & Resilience Planning

    Define what must keep running before choosing how to power it. We evaluate microgrid and resilience options around critical public services, outage assumptions and operating priorities, coordinating with the parties responsible for electrical design, safety and utility approval.

  • Thermal Storage & Grid-Interactive Buildings

    Evaluate when energy is needed, not only how much. We are developing advisory and modeling approaches for thermal storage, advanced controls and other technologies that connect building loads with more flexible energy use.

How we work with your team

  • Confirm the contracting role first.

    We settle the prime or subcontract relationship, scope, data rights, publication rights and required permissions before we plan any field work.

  • Deliver against the work plan.

    We coordinate site readiness, deployment, QA, monitored data and analysis to the award's milestones, and we document limitations alongside findings.

  • Respect procurement and sponsor authority.

    We use findings, sponsor names and site images only with the required permissions, and public procurement and approval responsibilities stay clear.

We contribute a real scope of work, documented qualifications and defined deliverables, and we identify our team's individual experience and Green Summit's contracted project roles separately; we never claim prior-employer research as Green Summit work.
