Programs and requirements by state
Know which route applies before you commit the design, the equipment or the application.
State programs and building-performance requirements each have their own applicants, contractors, measures, approvals and evidence. Green Summit helps owners, developers, housing organizations and program teams identify the route that applies and define the technical work around it. We are an independent consulting firm, not the program administrator, and we will tell you when a program itself offers help you should use first.
Choose your state
New Jersey
Sixteen program pages covering new construction, large energy users, public facilities, community energy planning, CHP, benchmarking, home energy rebates and legacy Pay for Performance — each with a status line.
California
Title 24, Part 6 building-energy compliance from design through verification, for the jurisdiction and compliance path that applies to your project.
New York City
Local Law 97: turn an emissions requirement into a building-by-building plan, starting from the building's actual covered status.
Washington
Clean Buildings Performance Standard: know your tier, plan the work and keep the evidence together.
Federal IRA rebate programs
The HOMES and HEEHRA rebate programs run in states, territories and Tribal communities alongside the state requirements above. Green Summit supports owners and project teams with whole-building assessments, technical screening and the documentation each program requires.
Working somewhere else?
Our incentive, benchmarking and compliance work is national. Tell us the state and the requirement, and we will scope the technical support around it.
