Green Summit

Affordable Housing & Housing Authorities · Solutions

Field quality & measured outcomes

Evidence from the field, not assumptions from the file.

A lower utility bill does not by itself prove that a retrofit worked: weather, occupancy, schedules and operating changes move consumption too. Green Summit plans inspections, testing, corrective-action follow-up and performance verification for the project you have authorized, so the record shows what was installed, what was corrected and what actually changed. We bring qualified field personnel and the documentation together, and we plan the test before test day.

What we offer affordable housing & housing authorities

  • Commercial Air-Leakage Testing

Plan the test before test day. Commercial Envelope Testing Co., a wholly owned Green Summit company, performs whole-building air-leakage testing and coordinates the test boundary, preparation, equipment and reporting with your project team, so the test is part of a defined closeout plan.

  • Duct-Leakage Testing

Know whether the distribution system performs as intended. We provide duct-leakage testing and the related documentation for residential, multifamily and other building-performance applications within the project's scope.

  • Field Inspections & Project Verification

Keep field conditions connected to the project record. We provide energy-related inspections and field verification that give your team reliable evidence of existing conditions, installed work and completed corrections.

  • Measurement & Verification

Know what changed, and understand why. We define the baseline, the data and the documented method before improvements begin wherever possible, then report measured performance with its assumptions and limitations stated.

  • Rebate & Utility Program QA/QC

Make quality visible in the file and in the field. For rebate and utility programs, we review technical files, perform field quality reviews and track corrective action so assessments, installed measures and field evidence agree.

  • Residential Blower-Door Testing

Measure the envelope and document the result. We provide residential blower-door testing for the energy-code, rating, certification and building-performance applications your project requires.

How we work with your team

  • Define the test and the boundary early.

We schedule inspections and tests into the construction or rehabilitation sequence and plan occupied-unit access rather than improvising it.

  • Follow every finding to closure.

We document deficiencies, assign follow-up and verify corrections before a review item is closed.

  • Report what the evidence supports.

We establish independence, protocol requirements and program acceptance for each project before the work starts, and our reports state what was measured and how.
