Equipment Rental & Field Support
The right equipment, in known condition, with a test record that holds up.
Reliable field work depends on three things: the condition of the equipment, a setup that suits the building and a usable record of the test. A field accuracy check on a manometer or blower door tells you the instrument is reading sensibly today; it is not accredited laboratory calibration, and we never describe it as one. Green Summit offers selected rating-equipment rental and field-support arrangements, including equipment condition checks, the field accuracy checks we specifically offer and guidance on diagnostic workflows and data export. As RESNET Rating Provider No. 1998-221, we know what a reviewer needs to see in the test record, and we help eligible professionals get there.
- RESNET Rating Provider No. 1998-221
- Licensed engineering firm
- Founded 2014
- Audit-ready documentation
Who this is for
HERS Raters, Rating Field Inspectors and contractors who need diagnostic equipment for a defined period, a documented check of the instruments they already own or help producing a test record that will hold up.
What we do
- Arrange equipment access. We confirm the instruments available, the authorized users, the dates and the rental terms before anything ships.
- Document equipment condition. We establish pickup and return checks, photographs and responsibility for loss or damage, so both sides know the state of the kit at each handoff.
- Perform the accuracy checks we offer. We carry out the specifically offered manometer, blower-door and duct-tester field checks and record what was checked and how.
- Support test-data workflows. We help you set up the test correctly, export native data from the instrument and produce the documentation the rating or program requires.
Our process
- Confirm the equipment, your qualifications and the project dates. We match the request to what is available and to the work you are authorized to perform.
- Complete the arrangement and the condition record. The rental or field-check terms and the pickup condition are documented before the equipment leaves.
- Return the equipment or receive your check results. We complete the return check, or deliver the field-check record, with follow-up guidance where the results call for it.
What you receive
The equipment rental you arranged, a condition or field-check record you can keep with your project files, and technical workflow support for setup, data export and documentation. Availability, shipping, turnaround and replacement obligations follow the current agreement and fee schedule, and we put them in writing.
Benefits
- Access to the equipment and setup support you need without an unplanned purchase.
- Clear expectations for condition, availability, permitted use and return, settled before the job starts.
- A test record that reads correctly to the reviewer, because the setup and the export were done the way the rating or program expects.
Why Green Summit
Green Summit is a consulting partner delivering end-to-end compliance solutions in building performance: a licensed engineering firm founded in 2014 that also holds RESNET Rating Provider No. 1998-221 and performs diagnostic field testing itself. We connect the technical scope, the supporting evidence and the implementation responsibilities, so you leave with a usable next step and a record that will stand up in review, not simply another report.
Frequently asked questions
What is equipment rental and field support?
It is a set of arrangements that keep diagnostic testing on track: rental of selected rating equipment such as blower doors, duct testers and manometers; documented condition checks at pickup and return; the field accuracy checks we specifically offer; and guidance on test setup, native data export and the documentation a rating or program requires. Each arrangement is defined in writing before the equipment moves.
Is a field check the same as manufacturer calibration?
No. We describe exactly the check that was performed and nothing more. Manufacturer or accredited-laboratory calibration may still be required by the standard or program you work under.
Is all equipment always available?
No. Availability and permitted use are confirmed for the dates and location you request, and we tell you promptly if a request cannot be met. Ask early when a project has a fixed test date.
Can you help with DG1000 test records?
Yes. Support for relevant TEC equipment and native diagnostic-data workflows can be arranged within the technical-support scope we define together. The aim is a test record exported from the instrument in its native form, with the setup and results a reviewer can follow, rather than a number copied by hand.
What is included in an equipment rental?
Availability, accessories, rental period, pickup or shipping, condition checks and damage responsibilities, all set out in writing. Training, calibration services and field staffing are separate, and you should never assume they are included unless the agreement says so.
Can you help choose a setup for a job?
Yes. We review the intended test and the equipment it needs within a defined support scope. You, as the field professional, remain responsible for using a suitable method and for confirming that the equipment fits the building and the test conditions.
