New Jersey Comfort Partners Coordination

Connect eligible households with the official program, and coordinate everything else around it without duplicating its services.

Comfort Partners is an income-qualified energy-efficiency offering, delivered through the official program at no cost to eligible participants. That shapes what a housing provider's role should be: households enroll through the program's own process, and the useful work for an owner or program team is making sure residents reach the right route and that other improvement programs on the same property do not collide with it. Green Summit's role, where one exists, is separately contracted technical or program coordination. We never sell access to a household service the program provides at no cost.

Who this page is for

Housing organizations, rental property owners and the housing and program teams who serve income-qualified residents in New Jersey. Households themselves should go directly to the official Comfort Partners process.

What we do

  • Identify the official referral route. We help housing and program teams direct eligible households to the correct official process, so residents reach the program's own providers.
  • Coordinate overlapping programs. When several improvement programs touch the same property, we organize the technical information and draw the boundaries between them.
  • Provide a separately authorized scope only where one is needed. We define a review or training scope on its own terms, only where the program permits it and the project needs it.

Our process

  1. Confirm the official program. We establish the program's current process, the property's status and who is responsible for each part.
  2. Define the additional technical work. We identify what the property needs beyond what the program already funds, and we never duplicate a program-funded service.
  3. Coordinate the records. We deliver the analysis, records and follow-up to the owner and the program administrator.

What you receive

A clear referral route for eligible households, a documented map of which program covers which measure on the property and, where the program permits and the project needs it, a separately authorized review or training scope with its own deliverables.

Benefits

  • A clear program route for residents and for the property.
  • A defined technical scope with accountable responsibilities, kept separate from the program's own service.
  • Records organized for the next decision on the property.

Why Green Summit

Green Summit combines building analysis, engineering coordination and field verification with an understanding of the owner's objectives for the property and its residents. Founded in 2014, we are a licensed engineering firm, and the records we deliver are built to be audit-ready from day one.

We are an independent consulting firm, not the program administrator, and we will tell you when the program itself offers free help you should use first. With Comfort Partners that is where every conversation starts: the program serves eligible households directly, and our work begins only where a separately contracted need exists.

Frequently asked questions

What is New Jersey Comfort Partners?

Comfort Partners is New Jersey's income-qualified energy-efficiency offering, delivered through the official program at no cost to eligible participants. Eligibility follows the program's household, account and housing requirements, and enrollment runs through the official provider process.

Should a household pay Green Summit to enroll?

No. Households should use the official Comfort Partners process. This page is not an enrollment service, and nothing we offer substitutes for the program's no-cost participant assistance.

Can every rental property participate?

Not automatically. The program's household, account and housing requirements determine eligibility, so a property owner should not assume that every resident or unit qualifies.

Can this be coordinated with other upgrades?

Potentially. The providers involved must confirm which work is eligible under each program and avoid duplicate costs or conflicting program responsibilities. We organize the technical information that makes that confirmation possible.

What determines the Green Summit engagement?

The project's actual technical need, the program's permitted roles and any professional qualifications the program requires. We identify deliverables and fees before work starts; funding approval is not guaranteed.
