Green Summit Approved as Partner in New Jersey's Clean Energy New Construction Program

BRANCHBURG, N.J. — Green Summit, a licensed engineering and tax-incentive consulting firm, has been approved as a partner in the New Jersey Clean Energy Program's (NJCEP) New Construction Program (NCP) Partner Network. Green Summit is the only partner certified across all five NCP pathways, giving New Jersey builders and developers a single point of contact for energy modeling, HERS rating, field testing, and inspections from plan review through final certification.
Approved in October 2026, Green Summit is certified for the Alternative Performance, Bundled, Streamlined, and High Performance (residential and non-residential) pathways — covering new single-family, townhome, multifamily, commercial, and industrial construction statewide. The NCP rewards buildings that exceed state energy code, with applications submitted through approved partners. Details are on the NJCEP Trade Ally Network and Green Summit's NCP page.
NCP base incentives are paid per square foot of conditioned space: $1.00 for ENERGY STAR or LEED v4.1 certification, $1.75 for DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes, and $2.50 for Phius certification, plus greenhouse-gas-reduction bonuses of up to $1.50 per square foot and additional bonuses for all-electric systems and affordable housing. Single-family incentives are calculated on 2,000 to 4,000 square feet, for a maximum of $10,000 per home before bonuses. A 70,000-square-foot multifamily building certified to Phius can receive up to $280,000. A 50,000-square-foot commercial building would earn $50,000 at the ENERGY STAR tier or $125,000 at the Phius tier before bonuses.
